28 - Finalising dual boot
Sep 2nd, 2008 by LiveVista
This video is a lead off from video nine, in replacement of video ten. This video is for those of you that don’t require (or don’t want to use) the required discs.

The three files:

boot.ini
ntldr
NTDETECT.com
These are the three files that require being copied from the Vista drive, to the XP drive.

The three options:
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
You need to uncheck:
- Hide extensions for known file types,
- Hide protected operating system files,
And you need to select:
- Show hidden files and folders.
Once you’re done with these settings, (optionally, but recommended), you need to recheck:
- Hide extensions for known file types,
- Hide protected operating system files,
And you need to reselect:
- Do not show hidden files and folders.

I apologise for how this video seems to be rushed through. I tried to squish as much information as possible into the ten minute frame gap I have. I did not want to have to split into two videos, as this would get confusing.
This video is also the first of using a nice new microphone, in a hope to make my voice clearer. However, again, I have to apologise for my computers fan in the background.
